Mr F, Leyland. Flood Damage Reinstatement
Following flooding to his property in 2012 MR F's insurers appointed a company to undertake initial restoration and drying procedures at his house. Unfortunately due
to the presence of a specialised water fed underfloor heating system and considerable delays the drying process proved unworkable and Taradale Building Services were appointed via open tender to
undertake full stripping out and reinstatement of the internal elements of the property including renewal of the heating system, floor screeds and asphalt, timber studwork and joinery, new en-suite
and bathroom installations and full redecoration. The work was undertaken utilising a JCT Minor Works 2011 form of contract and overseen by
contract administrators on behalf of Mr F's insurance company and loss adjusters, and an agreed programme of 14 weeks confirmed. Taradale successfully completed the
project in March 2012 four weeks ahead of schedule and handed the property back to a very relieved and much happier client.
